We did it! We’ve survived the first half of the year! I know some of you guys are thinking ‘We already crossed the border in June.’ Errm nar mate.. you didn’t. June is the sixth month in a year so you gotta get through June first in order for the half-year mark to count. Either way, we’re here now so that’s all that matters. Most of you set your goals for 2018 around last year’s New Year’s Eve. That was quite a while ago so I hope you still remember them. Did you write them down by any chance? If the answer is no, I would definitely recommend writing them down and sticking it somewhere visible so it constantly reminds you to keep working towards them. You can stick it on your wall or make your phone home screen a list of your goals… Just make sure you look at your…

I’m sure we’ve all been guilty of saying ‘New Year, New Me’. Or if you haven’t said it out loud, I bet you’ve thought about making a change in your life. In this blog, I will give you two reasons that explain why this phrase isn’t as bad as you think. When you think about this phrase, the first thing that probably runs through your mind is someone who says this every year without fail but NEVER changes for the better. But this saying is bigger than this… It’s not just about hitting the reset button when it hits 00:00 am on 1st January. It’s about learning from the mistakes you made last year so you don’t take the same L’s again in the new year. For those who don’t know, taking an L means taking a loss in something. Your L’s don’t have to be losses. They can be lessons if you…

Right now it’s lunch time. The weather is nice. The sun is glistening and the temperature is about 27 degrees Celsius. What a nice weather to go for a walk and enjoy the weather or meet up with a friend for a drink at the pub after work. But guess where I am.. I’m sitting at my desk instead of enjoying the lovely weather. And no, I am not catching up on Trash TV lol. You’re probably thinking “We’re in the UK and this weather doesn’t come by often. Why is she not making the most out of this weather?” Well, carry on reading  to find out why I’m stuck at my desk instead of enjoying this lovely weather. Something’s Gotta Give! We all have our lazy days. Days where you can’t be asked to do anything. There are times where I just want to jump in bed as soon as I…

It’s June! Time is flying! Can’t believe we’re halfway through the year already. It still feels like it was only Christmas 2016 a week ago. We’ve got six month left before we say goodbye to 2017! Time flies, doesn’t it? It doesn’t wait for no one and that leads to my question: Have you been making the most of your time? Did you set any goals at the start of the year? At the start of the year, I wrote my goals down on a piece of paper and stuck it on the wall in my room. It’s one of the first things I see when I wake up. This way I always remember what I need to be working on. Sticking your goals on the wall helps to visualise your potential achievements. Setting goals at the start of the year is like a rough plan of how you want your year…

Do you know someone who has ever postponed something that was planned without a valid reason? Of course, you do! You’re probably trying to think of a friend who has cancelled on you before but you’re looking too far away. I’m sure YOU have postponed something before simply because you can’t be bothered to do it. ‘I will do it tomorrow’ becomes your favourite phrase and a lot of times, tomorrow becomes next week or even next month! Don’t worry, you’re not the only person. I’ve been there too and can totally relate to you. Couple reasons why you procrastinate I have asked a few people why they procrastinate and I received very interesting reasons. People procrastinate because of: Laziness Being busy Being bored and staring into space Wanting to be a perfectionist and getting things right in one go Not paying much importance to things Point one was the most common response…
