Who wants to be in a happy and healthy relationship? I’m sure you’ve always wanted to be in one. Even if you’re a baby girl or baby boy enjoying your single life and not in a rush to settle down, this thought must have crossed your mind before. Especially after seeing how some couples treat each other in public, on social media and maybe even in your household. Some of you have fallen in love with the way some couples interact with each other and say: “What a lovely couple, they look so happy. I want something like that.” I can see why you would want something like that. I mean, who wouldn’t wanna be in a happy, healthy relationship? It sounds like a silly question but trust me when I say it’s not. And I’ll tell you why after asking you this question: Are you happy as a single person? Are You Happy…

I’ve seen a lot of girls tweeting things like: “I just don’t have time for a man right now. I wanna build my business first before I can get into something serious.” Ladies, let’s be real… if a guy you really fancy told you that he can’t be in a relationship right now because of his very demanding career, will you not be gutted? Of course, you’ll be gutted! You’ll most probably give him 100 reasons on how you’re gonna support him to reach his full potential and not distract him in the relationship. So if this is something you would do, why are you stressed about dating or being in a relationship whilst being a boss lady? Use Your Time Wisely! Dating whilst building a brand/business can be hard. Both cost a lot of time. So how do you make time to work on your goals, spend quality time…

I remember how a lot of people frowned upon online dating in my teenage years. In those days, you would’ve been called a desperado for using dating apps. But what do you really know about dating as a teenager? I guess you’re just too young to understand… Even in this day and age, there are still a lot of people who frown upon online dating. If you’re on Tinder, people automatically assume you’re desperately looking to have a one night stand. If you’re on MatchMaker, you’re considered to be a hopeless romantic. So what do you call the people who have found love on social media? Isn’t sliding into the DMs a form of online dating? It Goes Down In The DM! I’m sure someone has slid into your DMs before or maybe you’re guilty of doing all the sliding. Either way, I know for a fact that you’ve thought about…

Pinch punch, it’s the first Monday of a brand new month! We’re back with a new episode. There’s been a lot happening this week. From the Libyan slave trade to the Grammy Nominations. Let’s see what everyone had to say about this… WHO’S IN THE BUILDING THIS WEEK? Whilst Jessica is still recovering from riding camels in Dubai, I’m somewhere eating Gouda cheese in The Netherlands and living my life like it’s golden. So you’ve only got one co-host to entertain you this week but Yvette did invite two guests to keep her company. Natalie was back in the building who isn’t a stranger to the podcast. Give her a follow on Twitter @NatThePhoenix. We also had Travis Jay come in who’s known to be a triple threat; he’s a comedian, a host and a radio personality. Make sure you give him a follow on Twitter @TravisJayent to find out…

The only thing that runs through your mind after a fresh break up is your ex bae (or in some cases bae). The reason I said bae is because some of us are or have been in traffic light relationships. You don’t know whether the red light is permanent or just holding up traffic for a while. The amber light might make you want to cross the road to make things work. Who knows, it might change back to a green light and this could be a temporary break up… But right now you’re hurting and feeling lovesick as literally everything around you is reminding you of your ex. From the T-shirt hanging in your wardrobe to your new phone case he bought you last week. How do you heal from this? In this blog, I’ll be touching on four ways that will help you get over your ex and heal from the…

When some people hear the word compromise, they literally jump into defense mood as if someone just threw a jab at them. I recently came across a few Instagram posts where some women were very much against compromising. They said that compromising is a no-no in a relationship as your partner should love you for who you are. How do you feel about this statement? Do you agree? So Why Do People HATE Compromising? I don’t actually think people have an issue with compromising. I think that compromising has been labelled as an issue depending on what’s being suggested to change or to happen. Let me paint the picture… A guy meets this very beautiful girl who wears make-up. Not too much make-up, but just enough foundation to cover the blemishes and a bit of mascara to make her eyes look alive. They end up dating for a while and things progress…

What’s the first thing you normally do after upsetting someone? Apologise? But what if your apology isn’t accepted; what do you do then? ‘Think before you speak’ is a very common quote that we all know but sometimes seem to forget. There can be times where the wrong words find their way in your mouth. Instead of thinking before you speak, you end up saying something offensive. You might not think you did any harm with what you said. But guess what, it can still be taken the wrong way which can lead to you hurting someone’s feelings. Is An Apology Enough? I’ve found myself in very crazy situation recently where I literally messed up. There’s no other way in putting this. I actually f*cked up… I said some stuff that wasn’t cool but didn’t think it would do any harm. What I said has cost me my best friend *sigh*. Should’ve known better…

There’s been a lot going on this week. From sexual harassments to the Dove advert. Let’s see what the ladies have to say about this… WHO’S IN THE BUILDING THIS WEEK? This week we had a new face in the building. We met a nice and fun lady at the AfroBeats In Conversation event back in October 2017. She’s what you call a triple threat; a blogger, hairdresser and make-up artist! We had the beautiful and bubbly Josephine in the building. Josephine is NOT afraid to speak her mind, I tell ya! You’ll be able to hear that on this week’s episode lol. Make sure you give her a follow on Instagram and Twitter @memojoandi. JUST THE TIP The new Dove advert has caused a bit of an uproar on social media. In the advert, you can see a Black woman changing into a White woman as she changes her top.…

Say goodbye to Summer and hello to Autumn! It’s only right to start this new season with a new episode. A lot has happened in the past couple weeks. From a shooting in Canada to social media going crazy about Kevin Hart’s love life. Let’s see what the On The Low ladies have to say about this… WHO’S IN THE BUILDING THIS WEEK? We had a new face in the building this week. He’s very opinionated and has his very own show called Unpopular Opinions on Radar Radio. We had the opinionated Kwam in the house. Besides being a radio personality, he’s also a MC and a tennis coach. Make sure you click HERE to check out his show. Don’t forget to give him a follow on Twitter @WhoIsKwam and also check out his music on www.whoiskwam.com. JUST THE TIP Hmm is Kevin Hart in trouble? He released a video apologising to his family for…

It’s been a while since we had an episode of Cackling Women. We didn’t have a guest come through so it was just the three of us this week. Well, Mr Jack Daniels was present as Yvette doesn’t know how to stop getting a couple of cans in *rolls eyes*. From the minute we saw each other, we couldn’t stop laughing. This episode was full of banter! We all felt a few pounds lighter from all that laughing lol. Besides laughing, we balanced the episode out and also touched on some serious topics. JUST THE TIP The UK comedian Michael Dapaah is at the again! He went on the famous Fire In The Booth with his alter egos MC Quakez and Roadman Shaq to spit some bars. What do you think of it? Were you also in stitches? So this week we decided to discuss my blog ‘Is Snooping Around…
